From community health assessments to school grants to mental health awareness, I give my time where good data and honest conversations can make a difference. Lately, that means helping break the silence around mental health in South Asian and Asian American communities.

Mental health awareness
A North Carolina pilot program, led by and for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, tackling the stigma around mental health, substance use and suicide. From community webinars to a mental health booth at Holi, the goal is to get people talking.

Data collection & analysis
Helped collect and analyze data for Carilion's Community Health Needs Assessment in communities around Roanoke, including Franklin County and the New River Valley.
